About Us
Sorenson Excavating Ltd, was incorporated in 1992 and has grown over the years to a versatile civil/industrial contractor doing roadwork, utility installations and bridges. We've owned a water truck for many years.

In 2021, with the help of "Tender Rory" Miller we got involved in our local Wildfire support and since then have built up a small fleet of tenders. We have been adding to and improving that fleet and are now well equipped to provide support for wildfire suppression, structural protection, and bulk dust control.

Bulk Water
Transport
Sor-Ex Water can offer a number of different options to meet your water supply needs. From 32,000 litre combination units to 2,500 litre single axle units. Every unit is equipped with a VHF radio programmed with all Wildfire Metal and Resource Road frequencies.
Wildfire and Structural Protection
Support
Every unit at Sor-Ex Water is 'pump on/pump off' capable and are equipped with various fittings to mate with differing applications making them potential mobile water sources. (bladders) Our operators are professional, seasoned and experienced.
Stand Alone
Support
From 1 1/2" to 4"", Sor-Ex Water has multiple pumps and hoses to supply your water needs. In addition, Sor-Ex Water has a 53' dry van site trailer that contains an office space, a work shop for on-site repairs, and a double walled diesel fuel tank.

EMPLOYMENT AND SUB CONTRACTING
Employment: We are looking for seasonal drivers. Class 1, 3 and 5 with air brakes endorsement. Day shift only. Flexible scheduling.

Employment
Wildfire work is, by its nature, seasonal. Wildfires do not recognize weekends or holidays. Wildfires can occur at various locations including threatening structures.
